Introduction

The annual Modeling and Tailoring course of Harim is a specialization course addressed to professional figures who want to improve their skills of design of a pattern and its transformation into a real product. The main goal of the course is re-training professionals of the sector in order to keep them up-to-dated on new trends and keep them competitive enough in the sartorial field.

Admittance into annual modelling and tailoring course

Italian and foreign citizens with a high school diploma or a degree can enroll in this course. This course is for a limited number of students only and they have to pass an aptitude test and a preliminary interview. You can make a reservation for the selections at any time of the year, by phone or by e-mail.

Duration of the course
The Modeling and Tailoring course is one-year long. The academic year starts in October and ends in May. The educational program is with a full immersion of 8 hours a week (8 hours once a week). This program is suitable for non-resident students. Our information office is at students’ beck and call for some advices about the choice of the course and the planning accommodation of non-resident students. At the end of the academic year, the competence of the student is constantly evaluated with oral exams and projects.
Job opportunities
The designer is a key role in the textile / clothing area, above all if he / she has sartorial skills. Finding such skilled figures is not easy and for this reason the labor market offers many different job opportunities. Designers can work in tailoring companies, in the leather industry or in the knitwear industry. After having gained some experience, designers can aspire to work as models managers.
Graduation release
At the end of the course an annual diploma in Modeling and Tailoring is released to students.

Fairs of the sector / seminars / exhibitions, personal projects, backstage, photo-shoots and photo-books, Harimag, talent scout, hair models / hostesses / promoters.
