Introduction

The annual Goldsmithing Techniques course is suitable for professionals and enthusiasts of jewelry art and it allows students to learn manufacturing techniques and processes both traditional and innovative. It is an intensive course appropriate for those who want to have the chance to work with professionals of the sector and to learn the best goldsmithing techniques, succeeding in creating high-valuable products. The development of practical skills is the main goal of the course that can be reached thanks to everyday classes in lab. The course is suitable for both beginners of the sector and those who already have a basic knowledge and want to improve by learning advanced techniques.

Admission to the Goldsmithing Techniques Course 

Italian and foreigners citizens with an high school diploma or a degree can enroll to this course. This course is for a limited number of students only and they have to pass an aptitude test and a preliminary interview. You can make a reservation for the selections at any time of the year, by phone or by e-mail.

Duration of the course
The Goldsmithing Techniques course is one-year long. The academic year starts in October and ends in May. The educational program offers a full immersion of 8 hours a week (8 hours a day once a week). This program is suitable for non-resident students. Our information office is at students’ beck and call for advices about the choice of the course and the planning accommodation of non-resident students. At the end of the academic year, the competence of the student is evaluated with oral exams and projects and students are rated.
Job opportunities
This course prepares students to the realization of handmade products using gems and metals. Thanks to the practical laboratory experience, at the end of the course students master all techniques necessary for the creation of unique and high valuable pieces of jewelry.
Graduation release
At the end of the course, an annual Goldsmithing Techniques diploma is released to students.
