Introduction

The annual Jewels Design and Accessories course allows students to acquire all skills required to start a career as professional jewels designers and creators. Thanks to an analysis of both traditional and innovative materials used in this sector, students start a personal and professional journey in the jewelry sector, with the purpose of acquiring very specialized skills. This course also introduces to students crucial techniques of the planning and realization processes, essential to produce trendy jewels and accessories.

Admission to the Jewels and Accessories Design Course 

Italian and foreigners citizens with an high school diploma or a degree can enroll to this course. This course is for a limited number of students only and they have to pass an aptitude test and a preliminary interview. You can make a reservation for the selections at any time of the year, by phone or by e-mail.

 

Duration of the course
The Jewels Design and Accessories course is one-year long. The academic year starts in October and ends in May. The educational program offers a full immersion of 16 hours a week (8 hours a day two times a week). This program is suitable for non-resident students. Our information office is at students’ beck and call for advices about the choice of the course and the planning accommodation of non-resident students. At the end of the academic year, the competence of the student is evaluated with oral exams and projects and students are rated.
Job opportunities
During this course, students develop their design skills and learn realization techniques of handmade artistic jewels. The competence acquired allows students to create competitive products always in line with market demands and, at the same time, original and unique products for a niche market.
Graduation release
At the end of the course, an annual Jewels and Accessories Design diploma is released to students.
